9e: Les Trois Poussins Hotel 
The 'Hotel of the Three Chicks' is a lovely property due south of Place Pigalle. It has 40 rooms, half of which are small studios with their own cooking facilities. There's air-con throughout and one room has wheelchair access.
This place reeks of class and style; OK, so we're suckers for classical music and that's what greets you in the lobby on arrival. Take the steel-coloured, almost artistically designed lift up to the guestrooms and be soothed by the peach and flash colour scheme of the halls and the restful views over Paris (especially the panoramic ones from the 5th and 6th floor) or down onto the back patio. The patio is a great spot in the warmer months for breakfast or a drink. The vaulted breakfast room in the cellar may be devoid of light but it is so warm and inviting that this potential shortcoming is instantly forgotten.
